O V E R V I E WCollaboration Specialists is fortunate to have worked with 24 universities to date, influencing students and professionals alike through teaching and consultation.
We have taught classes in US law schools and West and East African graduate schools of conflict transformation.We presented an extensive series of continuing education workshops for nurses, allied health professionals, and mediators.
We provided conflict skills training to a consortium of all law schools in Iraq, as well as graduate and undergraduate programs in East and West Africa. Sierra Leone students also benefitted from this training, and Ginny consulted with them on preventing campus election violence.
We have spoken at conferences in the US, East Africa and Europe on peacebuilding and conflict management in prisons, and participated in a symposium on health care conflict resolution. We designed and delivered multidisciplinary health care dialogues in conjunction with universities in British Columbia and Georgia.
In partnership with the University of Ghana-
Legon, we designed and delivered Afrocentric psychological support as part of a program pre-
paring Liberian former child soldiers to reintegrate into society.
